Sailing Rum Rations

 This is my American Sailing Association, Course 108, Offshore Passage  Making trip through the Virgin Island Sailing Academy. We sailed the  Gallivant from Saint Thomas to Palm Beach Florida non stop in 8 days  covering just over 1,000 Miles. This was a great blue water sailing  adventure. 

 Here is a more detailed look at our bareboat charter in Belize 2017.  This was our second trip, first time with friends. We had some serious  adverse weather conditions which required us to change our sail plan  drastically. We laid up in Placencia Bay for two nights. After a rough  sail to Hatchet Cay we ended up staying ashore the second night as they  had availability. Our first night aboard, while moored at Hatchet was  quit rough, to say the least.
